May Baby Shower

So if one shower wasn't enough... our Sunday School Class Girls through me a baby shower! They went to every effort to make it so perfect too! They had a cake decorated for my theme, the food was hand made and fantastic (including those choclate dipped almonds!)! There were baby boy decorations and onesies and bibs! Even blue and white balloons everywhere! I was lavished with gifts, all the women mostly completed my registery!

I cried when I got home to AJ, out of pure joy for how these God-fearing woman just showered me with love in this time of change in our lives. We've been going to this church less than a year and already God has blessed us so much from the support and encouragement and great memories we share with our sunday school class. I look forward to see what more we can be involved in loving others in the group and outside the church as well,... we have such great models to follow! Thank you Ladies, your generousity, love, and all your time that was put into this for me, was not unappreciated! I can't wait for everyone to meet the new baby they all helped us prepare for!

March Baby Shower

I know I'm a little late... but as I'm getting ready for Baby B's arrival, I'm nesting a little everywhere... including organizing the BEFORE baby pictures, because I know there will be lots of AFTER baby pictures!

My mom and sisters through this amazing shower for me over my birthday weekend! It was tremedous!! Friends and family all brought a baby book with something written inside to start our collection... would you believe that I didn't get ANY duplicate books?!?! Is that incredible or what!? All the food was perfectly prepared and the cake and favors were truely amazingly done to match my globe, world theme! I will never forget this, thank you ladies for everyone who helped out!

The Nursery Is Getting Smaller, While My Belly Gets Larger!

We haven't put up any decorations yet except the mobile which we LOVE!! My theme is world globes so you'll see much more come through in decor later. I have 8 weeks left... plenty of time! Thanks to generous friends and family we've gotten almost EVERYTHING we need for Baby B to arrive! Only decor stuff (and a mattress) left to get!

The door hanging pillow was made by my creative and super athletic neice Elle. THANK YOU ELLIE BELLIE it matches perfect in his new room!
These are some of the globes on the mobile! Also trying some artist shots before baby comes!
The boxes don't match the decor so I've order 4 light blue ones that DO match, but you get the idea with these before I return them!

Our dresser/changing table! Beautiful and matches perfectly with the crib! AJ put it together relaly late one night and we LOVE it! THANK YOU MOM AND DAD!! You're SO generous and we LOVE having you in our thoughts as we change EVERY diaper on this beautiful peice of furniture!

Empty crib with no mattress or bumper... but it's coming... very, very soon!

Oh, and I'll finally put a 31.5 weeks preggo picture up since I've had some beggers...

AJ Goes to Australia

So after the long flight to Hawaii in my first trimester... there was NO WAY I was going on a 5 hr flight to CA, then a 14 hr flight to Australia... So I stayed home and remodeled our basement! Finally decided on a color, replaced light fixtures and blew up and framed some of our favorite home photography to hang!

Oh, and AJ got to fly first class too! Hence his feet and personal TV!

I'm so mad I missed the first business trip he's taken without me!!!

Let's Go To Hawaii!

In December, AJ got a surprise last minute business trip to Hawaii, so OF COURSE, we had to go! So 12 weeks preggo, I hopped in a bikini (last time for a while, I'm sure) and went to Honolulu, to snorkel, eat great food, relax on the beach and catch some beautiful sunsets from the pristine waters! We saw a luau, and explored all over Pearl Harbor during the Anniversary day too! AJ had never been to any of the islands so it was a great trip to say the least!

We visited the famous north shore to watch some wild surfing contest too!

We even had pinapple ice cream with pinapple chuncks, in a pinapple cup at a pinapple plantation! Pheww!

AJ got his picture taken with a Luau dancer!

We went snorkeling in the most beautiful filled in crater too!

We went snorkeling below... you can see the carved out natural crater that filled in!

This is the USS Arizona Memorial at Pearl Harbbor, very sobering tour, but a must see for all generations!

Catching Up from OBX Trip in 2010!

Ok, so here is me catching up (mainly for my little sister who is so much better at this than me) a little since lots has changed in our lives the last few months!

In October, 2010 we went to OBX as has been tradition since we got married! We had a blast, not to mention the day we got back was when we found out we were expecting our first baby!!! God knew what he was doing with giving us a relaxing trip away at the beach, just enough to let that little egg nest perfectly!

The girls are wearing the matching jumpers I made them! Yup, I sewed them!!! My experimentation turned out pretty well!

My brother and sister are teasing us here since we ALWAYS have a kissing picture shot, so this time, we let them have one of their own!!!
